Thing 13: Using YouTube
YouTube is user friendly and does not require much of a learning curve. I found it easy to upload to the site and use my video for classroom purposes. Students enjoy the interactive lesson.
Thing 12: Discovering YouTube
YouTube can be used as an instructional tool to demonstrate and engage learning. It provides indiviuals with a visual representation related to specific content. Students can relate their own ideas and intrinsic personalities using different videos.

Thing 5: Mashups
Spell with Flickr is a neat website that allows you to take a combnation of letters and text and create a different options and pictures to match it. I actually found this site fun and entertaining.

Flickr is a photo sharing website. Anyone can upload, discover, and share.

Blogging is not something I am familar with, but creating an account was simple. I want my page to look profesional and inviting. I also want my blog to be distinctive to who I am. The layout and the additional edits should be a reflection of my character.
Thing 1: Lifelong Learning
Lifelong learning is essential to the consistency of any learning environment. After reviewing the 7 1/2 Habits of Highly Successful Lifelong Learners, it is evident that teachers need to continue to change the techniques of learning for students.
The habit that is the hardest for me to complete is beginning with the end in mind. I find it difficult to set a defined goal and work backwords. I understand the concept, but it is sometimes difficult to practice.
